Your Role

As a Member Service Specialist III, you will serve as a trusted financial partner to our members by delivering a full range of member services. You’ll support account opening and maintenance, certificates, lending, and product solutions—while building strong relationships that help members reach their financial goal. This role blends service excellence, consultative sales, and operational expertise.

  • Serve Members with Excellence: Communicate the benefits of Vibe’s full suite of products and services, tailoring recommendations to meet individual member needs.
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong rapport with members to proactively promote and cross-sell relevant products and services.
  • Support Accounts & Products: Open and maintain accounts, manage CDs and IRAs, and assist with a wide range of lending products.
  • Resolve Needs: Address member inquiries with professionalism and provide effective, member-focused solutions.
  • Process Lending: Handle the processing, evaluation, and disbursement of loan applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide Additional Services: Offer notary and signature guarantee services with integrity and reliability.
  • Support the Team: Assist colleagues across the branch and credit union as needed to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
  • Provide Branch Coverage: Perform basic teller transactions and serve as backup coverage when necessary.
  • Stay Flexible: Maintain a work schedule aligned with branch needs and adapt to changes as required.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow BSA, AML, CIP, and CDD policies and procedures daily to remain compliant with all regulations.
  • Perform Other Duties: Complete special projects or assignments as needed to support branch and organizational success.
  • Maintain Sales and Service Goals: Meet all established sales and service goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior customer or member service experience preferred. Familiarity with lending practices is a plus.
  • Skills & Abilities: Strong customer service and consultative sales skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively. Clear, professional, and positive communication style. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prepare routine reports and written correspondence. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others.
