Join our team as a Full-Time Member Service Representative at our New Lenox branch. Pay

$19.25–$29.54 per hour. Starting pay is based on related experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist members in opening new accounts, processing transactions, applying for loans, and providing accurate information on various financial products and services
  • Demonstrate efficiency and professionalism by providing warm, welcoming, and personalized service to every member who visits or contacts the credit union
  • Provide members with information regarding credit union products and services; refer members to the appropriate person or department when needed
  • Understand and assess members' financial needs to educate and offer suitable products and services aligned with their goals
  • Educate members and assist with Interactive Teller Machines
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve organizational goals and maintain a positive work environment
  • Participate in community events and outreach programs to promote financial literacy and cultivate strong ties with local residents and organizations

Schedule

Varied schedule including multiple Saturdays per month.

Branch hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday 8:30 am to Noon.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a financial institution or service/sales-related capacity, or an Associate’s Degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people daily
  • Above-average performance in accuracy, productivity, and member service
  • Punctuality, neat professional appearance, and proper business telephone etiquette
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows programs
  • Detailed knowledge of the credit union and its services

Bilingual fluency preferred but not required.
