Member Service Representative

About the role

Blaze Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to join our Member Experience Center (Call Center). This role involves assisting members over the phone with their financial needs, processing transactions, resolving questions and disputes, and providing technical support for automated services. The position is full-time with rotating shifts and Saturday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls and electronic messages in a professional manner.
• Ensure high-quality member service in a first-call resolution environment.
• Process transactions and research/resolve member questions and disputes.
• Provide technical support for automated services.
• Work scheduled shifts, including Saturdays and extended hours if needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 36 months of experience working in a financial institution (call center experience a plus).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent member service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and work independently with initiative.
• Flexibility to work in a diverse, changing environment.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts: Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–5:15 pm, Friday 8:00 am–6:15 pm, and Saturdays 8:30 am–12:15 pm.
• Full-time position with Saturday rotations.

Pay

• Hourly wage: $25.20 – $29.50.
• Saturday hours paid at 1.5x the regular rate.
• Bonus for working 7 or 10 Saturdays in a quarter.
• Quarterly Team Bonus eligibility.
• Signing bonus: $5,500 for DNA experience (paid over 2 years) or $2,000 for non-DNA experience (paid over 1 year).
