About the role
Responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborates with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participates in code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers.
- Works closely with designers to ensure user interface and experience are intuitive and functional.
- Conducts thorough testing of software to ensure functionality and performance.
- Supports ongoing maintenance and updates of existing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in software development (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Skills
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
