About the role

You'll help maintain and improve our agentic research editor. Although research has progressed immensely in the last decades, the systems with which we do research — Jupyter Notebook, etc. — have barely changed. This is a chance to change that.

Responsibilities

• Help build the world's most performant Jupyter Notebook, with the ability to render over a million cells.
• Create new UIs, user flows, and experiences that make it easier for humans to conceptualize and manage hundreds to thousands of agents.
• Develop a modern, performant desktop research editor.

Requirements

• Our frontend code is primarily in TypeScript + React; our backend is in Python.
• We expect candidates to be extremely strong in modern, idiomatic TypeScript/React stack, and to have a working knowledge of Python.
• Strong full-stack / systems engineering knowledge.
• Able to move quickly in a zero-to-one environment.
