Technical Challenges

• Database of Humanity: Maintains a database of millions of people, matching profiles based on voice, face, and device IDs
• Emotional Intelligence: AI interviewer reads tone, hesitation, and facial micro-expressions to understand what people truly think
• Preference Model: Updating the preference model involves research on what to refresh, which questions provide the highest signal, and quantifying prediction uncertainty
• Human API: Embedding the preference model into tools like Slack, Linear, IDEs, and coding agents

What We Look For

• Solve problems end-to-end, owning parts of the product and making decisions across the LLM pipeline, infrastructure, backend, and UX
• Scope your own work, think about customers, and own decisions
• Care about getting things right, moving fast, and going to root cause when something breaks
• Excited about pushing LLMs to their limits, working directly with frontier model labs, and communicating complex ideas in writing
• Highly technical, starting coding as teenagers and being nerdy about details from language design to compilers
