Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with trade professionals through outbound phone calls, targeting specific customer segments and buying demographics.
- Build relationships with members and trade professionals through proactive outreach and engagement.
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for the sales team.
- Support business development efforts by re-engaging inactive members and helping grow member participation.
- Gather and analyze data from call campaigns to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, reports, databases, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Complete administrative tasks that support marketing, outreach, and member engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Showroom Manager and Account Manager to foster strong relationships with trade professionals.
- Assist with recruitment, retention, and ongoing engagement of buying members.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, inside sales, customer service, business development, or a related role.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls (150+ calls per day).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and customer engagement abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn products, services, and industry knowledge and effectively communicate value to customers and prospects.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business applications such as CRM systems, RingCentral, and email marketing tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and committed to professionalism and company values.
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, member services, business development, recruiting, account management, or sales experience.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer interactions and opportunities.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with contractors, trade professionals, or business owners is a plus.
- Flooring, remodeling, construction, wholesale, or showroom experience is a plus.
