Position Summary
The Member Development Associate is a sales position responsible for identifying new leads, sourcing leads to appropriate products and centers, and facilitating discussions with c-suite executives around our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential leads for the Account Executive, determining the best strategy to gain entry to a company.
- Work directly with C-Suite level executives to garner interest in the Council or Center, overcome objections, and secure a first meeting appointment with the New Business Sales Team.
- Schedule appointments for the Account Executive including confirming all appointments.
- Have an initial conversation about The Conference Board membership, products, and services.
- Ensure that the sales contacts are professional, effective, and appropriate for facilitating the company's involvement with TCB.
- Pull relevant leads reports consistently and per request of Account Executive, and then further qualify and research those leads.
- Enter notes into CRM and database per request of Account Executive.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university with 1-2 years post graduate experience.
- Background and passion in business development, account management, or marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
