Member/Activity Assistant-Caregiver

About the role

The Member Assistant position at Elite Day Center of FLORENCE is dedicated to providing hands-on care, ADL assistance, serving meals, companionship, and activity engagement for Members/Clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on care to Members/Clients at the Day Center
• Assist with ADL's as needed - toileting, feeding, etc.
• Serve catered meals and snacks according to instructions
• Provide companionship for the Members and participate in activities of the Center
• Interact and engage Members throughout the day
• Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center
• Ensure the members of the day center are safe and free of harm while at the day center

Requirements

• Experience with Activities/ADL care with Older Adults with Memory Concerns such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia (preferred)
• Experience with Activities/ADL care for special needs young adults, 18+
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to pass drug and background screening

Pay

Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm or 8:30am - 4:30 pm
