Summary

To provide the highest level of connection and focus to each guest that enters a melin store. To build a lifelong relationship with guests and the melin brand. To open and close the business, set up for success, manage drawers, and handle operational procedures.

Areas of Responsibility

• Engage with new customers and build immediate and lasting rapport.
• Personalize customer connections by providing the highest level of hospitality and customer service.
• Show deep and extensive product knowledge to support all client inquiries, questions, and concerns.
• Exhibit entrepreneurial mindset and creative communication skills.
• Independently problem solve and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with leadership team to communicate customer feedback.
• Ensure the retail floor is clean and presentable.
• Support and promote cashwrap and POS procedures.
• Reconcile tills, process returns, exchanges, gift cards, and discounts accurately.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in sales and merchandising with closing and opening responsibilities.
• Strong independent work ethic, excellent time management skills, organizational abilities.
• Preferred proficiency/knowledge in action sports, golfing, running/training, and a passion for the outdoors.
• Computer skills to include operating POS sales (Shopify).
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Self-motivated with strong entrepreneurial skills.
• Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
