Medium Duty Diesel Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and repairing vehicles with diesel engines
• Running diagnostic tests
• Handling routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
• Interpreting diagnostic test results
• Writing detailed inspection reports and repair plans
• Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using testing equipment
• Cleaning or performing maintenance work
• Operating and inspecting mechanical equipment to diagnose defects

Qualifications

• General Motors & Diesel Engine Repair knowledge
• Possesses own toolbox and tools
• Valid Drivers License
• NYS Inspection License

Pay

$30-$40 an hour dependent on experience

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30 to 6:00 pm
Rotating Saturday - Number of Saturdays are dependent upon staffing and business need
