About the role

The Terraces at Summitview in Yakima, WA, a HumanGood community nationally rated as Best Assisted Living and Best Independent Living of 2025-2026 by U.S News & World Report, is seeking a skilled Medication Technician (CNA/NAC) to join our Assisted Living team. Our Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC/CNA) actively implement our "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care." You will develop an understanding of residents' interests and needs, assisting them in maximizing their independence and participation through care ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living and recreational activities. You will also help maintain a safe environment for resident care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop awareness of residents' interests and needs
  • Aid residents in activities of daily living
  • Support residents in recreational activities
  • Create a safe environment for resident care
  • Provide exemplary care to residents

Requirements

  • Active Washington state CNA license
  • Full-time, evening schedule, rotating weekends
  • Pay range: $19.15 - 23.85 per hour, base pay, depending on years of licensed CNA experience
  • Shift differential: $1 for evening shifts

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate required
  • Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred
  • New graduates welcome

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of medication administration
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification

Pay

Pay range: $19.15 - 23.85 per hour, base pay, depending on years of licensed CNA experience. Shift differential: $1 for evening shifts.

Schedule

Schedules available: Full Time, Evening, rotating schedule which includes rotating weekends, from 2PM-10:30 PM.
