Medication Technician

Arcadia Retirement Village is seeking a Medical Technician to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about senior care and committed to enhancing the lives of residents through exceptional care and engaging programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in accordance with community expectations and medical guidelines.
• Keep accurate care records and follow outlined procedures, physicians' orders, and state laws.
• Exhibit knowledge of and willingness to follow medication policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Competent history in a similar facility.
• Valid First Aid Certification.
• Current CPR certification (state regulations may apply).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification (state regulations may apply).
• Pass an examination and/or skills evaluation.
• Maintain all required licenses and meet continuing education requirements.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and understanding English.

Qualifications

• Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
• Able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Able to bend, stoop, and push constantly.
• Experience working in Assisted Living preferred.

Pay

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour, DOE
