Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
• Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.

Requirements

Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor. Completion of training/certification is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of required training/certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in administering medications and treatments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in counting medications.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience.
