Medication Technician - AM PT
About the role
The Medication Technician position at MBK Senior Living is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to residents. This role involves assisting with medication administration, resident care, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of related work experience and a valid CPR & First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Aid residents with their daily medications and treatments.
- Notify supervisors if medications are not administered correctly and document the reasons.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records on resident medication and care.
- Track medication orders and report missing medications to supervisors.
- Support caregivers by fulfilling their duties and reporting any resident changes.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and resident requests.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead with a spirit of teamwork and open communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Certification or education as required by state regulations.
- Valid CPR & First Aid certification.
- Experience in a similar healthcare role, preferably in a senior living setting.
Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to manage and respond to resident behaviors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology for documentation.
- Ability to make sound decisions and handle stressful situations.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Schedule
Sundays & Mondays, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
