Medication Tech for Assisted Living Community - Carmichael, CA

Responsibilities

• Communicating with resident care director on resident changes, medication updates, etc.
• Ensure Department is Title XXII compliant at all times
• Following all medication guidelines that were given in medication training
• Pull, pour, assist residents with medications
• Absorb resident care is being done per assessment and documenting
• Assist with med-room tasks
• Aid and manage resident emergencies
• Help on the floor as a caregiver when necessary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Med Tech or Certified Nursing Assistant
• Previous supervisor or management experience
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
