Medication Safety Officer
Job Summary
The Medication Safety Officer coordinates the medication safety program across Sanford Health through partnerships with various committees and healthcare providers. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality and safety of medication administration, leading the standardization of the program, coordinating error reporting, and implementing and evaluating error prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Two years of experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions
- Knowledge of state and local regulations
- Successful completion of an ASHP accredited residency preferred
- Licenses must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice

Salary Range: $61.25 - $87.50
