About the role

The Medication Refill/Test Result Nurse assists with preparing and queueing patient refill requests for providers, as well as communicating test results to patients after provider review and relaying specific instructions and follow-up plans. This position may transition to hybrid or fully remote after an onsite training period of 8+ weeks (decision based on management discretion).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and queue patient medication refill requests for providers.
• Communicate test results to patients following provider review.
• Relay specific instructions and follow-up plans to patients.

Requirements

• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing from an accredited nursing school (preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions.
• Understanding of documentation standards.
• Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatment.
• Experience in a physician office (preferred).

Pay

$28.50 - $36.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Days: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
