About the role
We are seeking a certified pharmacy technician who supports patient care teams by obtaining and documenting accurate medication lists for hospital admissions and surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough interviews with patients and their families
- Contact outpatient pharmacies, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers to verify medication information
- Enter good faith effort medication list in the electronic medical record, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support treatment planning, medication orders during hospitalization, and post-discharge care
Requirements
- 3-5 years of recent retail experience
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with patient interactions and communication with providers and pharmacists
- 2+ years relevant experience preferred
- Criminal background check clear of drug-related offenses
- Strong mathematical calculation skills
- Working knowledge and skills as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas
- Intermediate proficiency in typing and using Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License OR intern/extern license if enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy
- Pharmacy Technician National Certification required unless enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy

- Effective customer service skills
- Intermediate proficiency in typing and using Microsoft Office applications

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
