Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents, including hands-on assistance with activities of daily living and emotional, psychological, and soulful support.
• Pass medications as needed, with the option for training provided to qualified candidates.
• Interact with seniors while providing care, requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Support the mission of helping each resident live a life of purpose.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification
• Current negative TB test
• Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours
• Ability to carry or transfer up to 25lbs with assistance
• Ability to pass criminal record/background check
• Efficient and good time management skills
• Able to work well independently with little oversight
• Top-notch organizational abilities and communication skills

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an assisted living community or memory care community as a Certified Medication Assistant or other role
• Experience in customer service roles, volunteering, or hospitality
• Kindness, patience, and compassion towards various groups and individuals
• Understanding of dementia and its effects on residents

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $23.00 per hour.
