We are seeking an enthusiastic Med Tech to join our Resident Services Department at Madison House! New Med Tech grads are welcome to apply.

Pay

$24–$26/hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

Full-time opportunity with multiple shifts available (all shifts).

Full-time team members are eligible for all medical benefits listed above. Part-time team members are offered Dental and Accident Medical Benefits only.

Responsibilities

  • Administer oral and external medications to residents under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Provide medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider’s orders
  • Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and incidents
  • Observe residents for safety and report any changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to the licensed nurse on duty
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including but not limited to:
    • Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
    • Oral care, ambulation, and transfers
    • Serving and assisting with meals, feeding
    • Housekeeping, bed making, and laundry
  • Uphold resident rights at all times
  • Assist residents to and from meals
  • Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state-certified medication aide/tech course
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First-Aid certification as required by company policy and state regulations
  • Ability to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position
