Medication Aide
About the role
We are currently searching for Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Westview Care Center. This job opportunity is located in Britt, Iowa. Ask us about our shift differential incentives for additional pay!
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living.
- Observe changes in condition and ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain education and ensure residents are comfortable and safe.
Requirements
- Minimum: Unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferable.
- Medication Aide course completion required.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medication administration.

Schedule
Shifts available include: 1st Shift fulltime, full time, parttime and PRN, as well as weekend package option. 2nd Shift full-time, part-time and PRN as well as weekend package option.
