Medication Aide & Certified Nurse Aide (7P-7A)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Medication Aide & CNA to join our team in a full-time night shift role, providing resident care in the Memory Support and Assisted Living Unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident care tasks under the direction of the Administrator, including taking and recording vital signs and reporting abnormal conditions.
• Escort and transport residents within the facility as needed.
• Administer medications (oral, topical, insulin injections) under supervision of a licensed nurse or pharmacist, and notify charge nurses of residents requiring injections.

Qualifications

• Valid VA State CNA license is required.
• Registered Medication Aide license is required.

Skills

• Experience working with dementia patients is preferred.
• Commitment to infection control practices, including influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination recommendations.
