The role of Medication Aide at Heritage Senior Living SD involves assisting residents with medication management, providing companionship, and ensuring their daily needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as per schedule and doctor’s orders
• Monitor residents’ health and report any changes to supervisors
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote resident well-being
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of living areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good physical stamina for lifting and moving residents
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
