Medicare Sales Representative
About the role
The role involves answering incoming calls, providing information, and converting callers into qualified leads and sales. Responsibilities include consulting customers on insurance needs, matching coverages, products, and benefits, and assisting with enrollment applications.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from prospective members
- Identify customer needs and convert callers to qualified leads and sales
- Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information
- Address customer needs, explain product differences, and assist in product selection
- Absorb and apply knowledge of the product portfolio
- Complete enrollment applications over the phone
- Meet performance, attendance, and consumer experience goals
- Obtain necessary state insurance licenses during training
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, with the option to telecommute
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of customer service/sales experience
- Within 30 days, must obtain all appropriate state insurance licenses (may be completed during training)
- Ability to work regular shifts, including training period, with flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime
- Live within commutable distance to the De Pere, WI office
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications
- Flexibility to customize approach to different caller communication styles and personalities

Pay
Total compensation is determined by sales performance. Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour, with the possibility of bonuses. The sign-on bonus is only available to external candidates.
Schedule
Full-time position with flexibility, operating hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 9:30PM local time, with rotational weekend work (Saturdays/Sundays).
