Medicare Sales Representative
About the role
The role involves answering incoming calls, providing information, and selling insurance products. Successful candidates will need to obtain necessary state insurance licenses during training.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and convert callers to qualified leads and sales
- Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information
- Explain product differences and assist in product selection
- Complete enrollment applications over the phone
- Meet performance goals in areas of performance, attendance, and consumer experience
- Obtain required state insurance licenses during training
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of customer service or sales experience
- Ability to work regular shifts, including training period
- Live within a commutable distance to the Roanoke, VA office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of customer service or sales experience
- Within 30 days, must obtain all appropriate state insurance licenses (may be completed during training)
- Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts, including the training period, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule and work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Live within a commutable distance to the Roanoke, VA office
Skills
- Knowledge of product portfolio
- Computer skills, including familiarity with Windows PC applications
- Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
- Flexibility to customize approach to meet different caller communication styles and personalities

Pay and Schedule
Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour, with the possibility of bonuses based on sales performance. Full-time position with flexibility desired based on the seasonality of our business.
