About the Role
Join the MarketPoint Career Channel Team as a Medicare Sales Field Agent. This field-based role requires you to live in the designated territory to serve your local community. As part of a collaborative team of 8–12 agents, you'll work under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director to deliver on Humana's strategy: delivering fundamentals, differentiating through exceptional service, and growing by expanding reach and influence.
Responsibilities
- Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits to provide a personalized experience.
- Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's presence in the market by becoming a valued community resource.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain.
- Must reside in the designated local territory.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, community-based events, or local engagements.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
- Background in selling Medicare products.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
- Background in supporting Value Based Care organizations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual in English and an additional language, with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.

Pay
The pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) role is $28,600 - $119,400 per year. This range reflects base pay and targeted commission, and may vary based on geographic location. Actual earnings will depend on individual performance.
Schedule
- Meetings with members may require appointments or event times that vary, including nights and weekends. Flexibility is essential.
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
Additional Information
- This role is part of Humana's driver safety program. A valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance are required. State driver's license is subject to validation and MVR review.
- Bilingual associates must take a language proficiency assessment (ILR test) to ensure competency.
- Mandatory training during the first five weeks of employment.
- Work-from-home requirements include a dedicated space with minimal interruptions, and a minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
