Medical Writer - Fully Remote | Upto $150/hr

About the role

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey. This is a contract Medical Writer position, fully remote, requiring 20–25 hours per week (with preferred availability of 30+ hours/week). Candidates must be located in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Generate and validate high-quality, synthetic clinical trial data.
• Author full CSR sections and design prompts, golden outputs, and rubrics.
• Quantify the ability of an AI agent in CSR task authorship.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience.
• PhD or equivalent.
• Experience with pre-market (Phases 1-3) clinical trial data and report authorship.
• Comfortable with full-document, long-horizon authorship.
• Location: US or Canada.
• Preferred: 10–25 years of experience.
• Preferred: 30+ hours/week availability.

Pay

$90–$150 per hour.

Schedule

20–25 hours per week commitment (preferred 30+ hours/week availability).
