About the role
The Medical Writer is responsible for evaluating medical literature, developing and editing clinical development documents, and managing project workflows with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit clinical protocols, investigator's brochures, clinical study reports, consent forms, safety and efficacy summaries, and publication materials.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments, maintain workflow, and deliver high-quality documents adhering to client templates and style guides.
- Collaborate with clients and team members, take ownership of projects, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of regulatory and clinical medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Degree in a scientific, medical, or clinical discipline (Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D.).
- Proven experience leading clinical study protocols and managing teams with strict deadlines.
- Exceptional writing, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Expertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of regulatory regulations and guidelines is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.
