Summary
Provides safe transportation for clients, families, and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions and assists staff in supervising clients during said functions.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides safe transportation of clients, families, and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions.
- May assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
- Maintains proper vehicle documentation, e.g., registration, inspection sticker, insurance, etc.
- Maintains ethical and professional standards as outlined in agency policies and abides by all statutes in conducting agency business.
- Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle including refueling, oil maintenance, and the like.
- May perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial and maintenance tasks.
- Supervises none.
Minimum Knowledge And Skills Required By The Job
- Education And Experience: High School Diploma or the equivalent required. Experience in similar role preferred.
- Certificates, Licenses, And Registrations: Valid Driver’s License and car insurance required.
Physical Requirements
- Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
