Medical Transport Specialist

The Medical Transport Specialist provides and facilitates non‑emergency patient transportation, ensuring timely, kind, and safe transport from pickup to destination.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients from pickup location to destination in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and work space.
• Provide kind and safe transportation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• No previous experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a for‑hire driver’s license (Class E) or greater (CDL); driving record will be reviewed.

Qualifications

• Required: For‑hire driver’s license (Class E) or greater (CDL).
• Preferred: Current Missouri licensure as an EMT.

Skills

• Ability to remain calm and make efficient decisions rapidly under stress in emergency situations.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Familiarity with age‑specific needs of the patient population served.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Day Shift).
