Medical Transport Specialist

About the Role

The Medical Transport Specialist provides and facilitates non‑emergency patient transportation for CoxHealth, a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across Southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas. The role involves moving patients from the pickup location to their destination in a timely, safe, and courteous manner while maintaining a clean vehicle and workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide non‑emergency patient transportation.
• Transport patients from pickup locations to their destinations promptly.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and work space.
• Ensure kind and safe transportation for all patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid for‑hire driver’s license (Class E) or greater (CDL); driving record will be reviewed.
• Preferred: Current Missouri licensure as an EMT.
• No prior experience required.

Schedule
