Medical Technologist - Rapid Response Lab - 40 hrs - Days

Trinity Health of New England is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist for the Rapid Response Lab at Johnson Memorial Hospital. The role involves providing highly skilled analysis of blood, fluids, and tissue samples to support state‑of‑the‑art patient care.

Responsibilities

• Determine normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
• Analyze blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques and procedures.
• Ensure operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating, completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college/university and successful completion of a NAACLS‑accredited MT program or MLT certification program.
• MT‑ASCP or equivalent professional certification, or eligibility to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
• New graduates are welcome; experience is preferred.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

40 hours per week, day shifts, with occasional weekends and rotating holidays.
