Responsibilities
- Performing laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Maintaining quality control and reporting results in compliance with regulations and accreditation standards
- Assisting with patient care tasks including phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, and ensuring patient privacy and safety
- Specimen processing and collaborating with clinical teams
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 6 years core lab experience in Pennsylvania, or certification as MLS/MLT by ASCP or AMT with relevant state licensing and experience in licensed labs in Las Vegas
- Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation (a plus but training provided)
