About the role
We are seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) to perform accurate and timely laboratory testing across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting routine and complex tests in Blood Bank, Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry, and Urinalysis
- Analyzing, verifying, and reporting results per protocols
- Maintaining quality control and instrument upkeep
- Communicating critical results to clinical teams
- Providing coverage in various lab areas as needed
Requirements
- MT/MLS ASCP certification
- Bachelor's degree
- Blood Bank and generalist experience, including Microbiology
- Minimum of 1 year clinical lab experience
- Ability to work independently and adapt to workload changes
- Flexibility to float between departments; no block scheduling
