Medical Technologist (MLT-MLS) - PRN - AVALA Hospital RH401
for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content.
We need to parse the job posting.
First, summary: "Performs standard laboratory testing for a specialty surgical hospital in order to aid in the treatment of patients and improve patient outcomes. Work is performed with a considerable degree of independence in the application of clinical laboratory knowledge and techniques, and requires judgments in monitoring test procedures, quality control, and test interpretation. Work is performed under the supervision of the Laboratory Administrative Director."
That's about the role.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities: list many bullet points.
Core Competencies: list of competencies (Action Orientation, Communications, Creativity/Innovation, Critical Judgment, Customer Orientation, Interpersonal Skills, Leadership, Teamwork). Could be considered "Skills" or "Competencies". The instruction: Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can map.
We have "Professional Requirements" which could be "Requirements". Also "Advanced Orthopedic And Spine Certification Requirements" and "Regulatory Requirements". Those are specific requirements.
We have "Skills" section: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge.
We have "Physical Demands" which is not in list; maybe we can include under "Requirements" or "Qualifications". But we should not create sections not listed unless they have real content? The instruction says: "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It suggests those are examples; we can use other headings if needed? It says "include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it". It doesn't forbid other headings, but likely they expect to use those standard headings. However we can also include "Physical Demands" as a heading if needed, but not in the list. Safer to stick to given headings.
We have no explicit Benefits, Pay, Schedule info. The posting does not mention benefits, pay, schedule. So we should NOT include those sections.
We have "Requirements": includes Professional Requirements, Advanced Orthopedic And Spine Certification Requirements, Regulatory Requirements. Also maybe "Physical Demands" could be part of Requirements.
We have "Qualifications": maybe education/license etc. Could combine with Requirements. But we need to decide.
We have "Skills": as given.
We have "About the role": summary.
We have "Responsibilities": essential duties.
We have maybe "Core Competencies" could be under Skills or a separate section like "Competencies". Not in list but could be considered Skills. However we already have Skills section for communication and basic computer knowledge. The core competencies are more like behavioral competencies. Could be placed under "Skills" as well, but we might create a separate "Competencies" section if allowed. The instruction says use those headings as examples; not strictly limited. But to be safe, we could include a "Competencies" section with heading Core Competencies
. However the instruction says "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't forbid others, but says "e.g." meaning examples. So we can include other headings if needed. However they also say "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe combine core competencies into Skills or Requirements.
We have "Professional Requirements" which includes dress code, annual education, regulatory requirements, patient confidentiality, punctuality, etc. That's more like requirements.
We have "Advanced Orthopedic And Spine Certification Requirements": specific education/training.
We have "Regulatory Requirements": license, qualification, experience.
Thus we can have a "Requirements" section that includes all those.
We have "Qualifications": maybe education degree, license, experience. Could be overlapping. But we can put qualifications under Requirements as well.
Better to have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include all duties, responsibilities, core competencies, professional requirements, certification requirements, regulatory requirements, skills, physical demands.
We must not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep each bullet point.
We need to format lists with - . For prose, use
.
We must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is not given explicitly but maybe "Medical Technologist" etc. Not present.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings.
We must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. None present.
