Role: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, evaluating results, and ensuring accuracy according to established protocols. Key Duties: Conduct tests in chemistry, hematology, and coagulation; calibrate, maintain, and repair instruments; review quality control and assurance; perform proficiency testing; support accreditation by meeting turnaround times; document and report findings, including abnormal results requiring notification. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate degree in clinical laboratory science or medical technology, current MLS/MT (ASCP) certification, and at least one year of high/moderate complexity testing experience. Skills & Attributes: Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; ability to identify and correct technical issues; team-oriented with the capacity to inspire cooperation.
