Medical Technologist III

About the role

The Medical Laboratory Scientist III performs routine and specialized diagnostic tests using advanced equipment and computer systems. This role involves evaluating and reporting patient results with independence, conducting quality control, and maintaining laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new procedures and instrumentation
• Lead major projects related to performance improvement, safety, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance
• Train new staff and serve as a technical resource and mentor
• Review reports and procedures
• Oversee documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Life Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• 3+ years of clinical experience in moderate/high complexity testing
• Leadership experience preferred
• Certifications from ASCP or equivalent required
