MED TECHNOLOGIST III

Responsibilities

• Independent performance of technical procedures, including emergency and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance.
• Participates in Quality Management processes as needed.

Requirements

• A B.S. and successful completion of an accredited MT/MLS program.
• A B.S. or A.A. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory-based Science, including a Laboratory training program or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS, or HHS sanctioned reviewer, ASCP accreditation, or equivalent.
• 5 years prior experience in a licensed clinical laboratory preferred.
• ASCP Certification Required; Specialty Certification preferred.
• Must possess skills in Core Lab (Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis), Microbiology, or Blood Bank appropriate to section assignment.
• Meet M.T. Tier requirements for MT/MLS III and successfully complete the application process.

Min USD $37.75/Hr. Max USD $67.95/Hr.
