Medical Technologist II - Chemistry

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing STAT and routine complex laboratory tests on biological specimens. Key Responsibilities Utilize manual methods and automated analyzers to ensure accurate and timely patient results.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate testing and interpret results.Support operational activities to maintain and optimize laboratory testing capabilities. Qualifications Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a health-related field.Completion of an accredited clinical laboratory training program.Experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking and communication skills.Ability to work irregular hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.Licensing in the relevant laboratory areas and preferred certification from recognized professional bodies. Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail, good manual dexterity, color discrimination, ability to work with laboratory machinery and handle exposure to chemical vapors and biological hazards, including immunosuppressed patients.
