About the role

Under the supervision of the Manager of the Rapid Response Laboratory, performs and interprets moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology. Maintains compliance with CLIA '88 standards, calibrates instruments, reviews test results, and ensures accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology
• Maintain compliance with CLIA '88 standards
• Calibrate laboratory instruments
• Review and ensure accurate reporting of test results
• Adhere to regulatory and safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or applied sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry
• One to two years of experience, varying based on educational background
• Knowledge of clinical tests, regulatory standards, and laboratory procedures
• Manual and visual dexterity for specimen preparation
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in clinical bacteriology and molecular diagnostics
• ASCP certification
