Medical Technologist II

About the Role

Performs routine laboratory tests and procedures across various areas such as chemistry, microbiology, hematology, and blood bank. Participates in quality control activities, CAP surveys, methods and procedures development, as well as equipment inspections and calibrations.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a related science with hospital-based internship.
• Registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) through recognized certifying agencies.
• Completion of a laboratory orientation program.
• Ability to achieve at least 80% accuracy on competency tests during peer interviews.
