Conducts routine and complex tests for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs related duties, following established standards and practices. Assumes responsibility for problem solving, systems control, and instruction.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum Work Experience: No previous experience required
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Completion of formal training program in an approved MT, MLS, or MLT program; Registered as a MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MLT(ASCP), or equivalent
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Compile statistics
- Input data into computer programs
- Maintain logs
- Ability to use CRT and diagnostic equipment
