About the role
We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Technologist for day shifts to join our hospital team in the Blood Bank department.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology
- Operating and troubleshooting laboratory instruments
- Ensuring accurate specimen processing with proper labeling
- Maintaining safety standards
- Participating in quality control and continuing education
- Supporting inventory management and inspection readiness
- Effective communication, teamwork, and mentorship of interns
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical technologist program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred

- Ability to work flexible hours including Monday through Friday, every third weekend, and rotating holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development
