About the Role
The Medical Technologist analyzes and reports lab values as part of the interdisciplinary care of our patients. Diagnostic procedures performed may include chemistry, microbiology, hemostasis, hematology, blood banking, urinalysis, and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities
- Provides oversight over technical lab operations
- Reviews patient results as well as related records such as quality control and instrument correlations
- Analyzes and reports all lab tests requested on patients
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medical Technology, CLS, or Science
- 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
- MLT (ASCP), CLS, or equivalent certification
- Medical Technologist license in state of practice
Pay
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
