Job Responsibilities
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
- Monitor and report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
- Document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
- Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
- Pass a standardized color blindness test
- Work independently and within a team environment
- Work flexible hours, including rotating weekends
- Pass a background check
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification

Pay & Benefits
- Pay Range: $34.25 -$52.14 per hour Plus 2nd shift differential
- Comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
