About the role

Join our Laboratory Services team and help deliver the accurate, timely test results that physicians rely on to diagnose and monitor disease. We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced lab environment, values precision, and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples using standardized procedures and automated laboratory instruments.
  • Prepare, collect, and analyze bodily fluids and other specimens for abnormalities, including blood samples used in transfusion-related testing.
  • Review results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical values, then report and document findings according to organizational standards.
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively while supporting routine maintenance and quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, continuing education, and other departmental responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, required.
  • Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accurate, reliable results.
  • Ability to work safely with bloodborne pathogens, biological materials, hazardous medications, latex, and chemical hazards.
  • Comfort with frequent sitting, computer work, equipment handling, and occasional standing, walking, and light lifting.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements when handling demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and medical record information.

Full-time, night shift (1800-0630).
