Medical Technician - Greater Fort Worth Area - FT or PRN

Responsibilities

  • Room and triage patients, record vital signs, and verify reason for visit
  • Perform venipuncture, draw labs, administer injections, and assist with other medical procedures
  • Perform EKGs, swabs for POC testing, and other diagnostic tests
  • Maintain clinic rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is in working order
  • Educate patients on clinic services and assist with patient inquiries
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and management to ensure efficient clinic operations
  • Complete all required documentation and record lab results accurately
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Active TMB registration in good standing (for nursing staff)
  • Minimum of two years of Medical Technician experience
  • Current BLS certification and DOT Drug/BAT certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
