Medical Technician - Greater Fort Worth Area - FT or PRN

Responsibilities
- Room and triage patients, record vital signs, and verify reason for visit
- Perform venipuncture, draw labs, administer injections, and assist with other medical procedures
- Perform EKGs, swabs for POC testing, and other diagnostic tests
- Maintain clinic rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is in working order
- Educate patients on clinic services and assist with patient inquiries
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with clinic staff and management to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Complete all required documentation and record lab results accurately
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Active TMB registration in good standing (for nursing staff)
- Minimum of two years of Medical Technician experience
- Current BLS certification and DOT Drug/BAT certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
