Medical Technician

About the Role

Atria is seeking a Medical Technician for our in-office laboratory in Palm Beach. This position will work directly with clinical staff collecting samples to process and test in-office orders of waived and moderate complexity assays, interact with partner labs for send-out of high complexity testing, and maintain the laboratory with a focus on compliance and quality.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical laboratory environment with experience in Hematology and Chemistry required.
• Experience with waived and moderate laboratory operations is desired.
• The ideal candidate has experience with phlebotomy and patient facing care as well as experience in laboratory processes such as accessioning, specimen processing, performing assays, and quality troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in scientific field (Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or other relevant field)
• 3+ years Laboratory experience in a combination of Point of Care and High Throughput environments
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills
• Availability to work Monday - Friday on a 5x8 schedule
