Responsibilities
- Closely monitor patients’ vitals like blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration.
- Explain test results in a way patients can understand and make significant healthcare decisions.
- Work with doctors and other clinical specialists to closely observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Build trust in interactions by learning new concepts and applying them in real-time to provide solutions for real people.
- Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
- Demonstrate the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients' conditions in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
- Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
- Document according to policy/procedure, standards, and guidelines.
- Serve as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN License with the state of Arizona
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- One (1) year of medical/surgical acute care experience
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
Preferred
- One (1) year of medical/surgical acute care experience
