Responsibilities

• Closely monitor patients’ vitals like blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration.
• Explain test results in a way patients can understand and make significant healthcare decisions.
• Work with doctors and other clinical specialists to closely observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Build trust in interactions by learning new concepts and applying them in real-time to provide solutions for real people.
• Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients' conditions in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Document according to policy/procedure, standards, and guidelines.
• Serve as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• RN License with the state of Arizona
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• One (1) year of medical/surgical acute care experience
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing

Preferred

• One (1) year of medical/surgical acute care experience
